            Our Mission

The Supplemental Instruction program (S.I.) strives to positively impact academic achievement and student retention by creating and maintaining a dynamic, interactive learning environment on campus.

The goal of the S.I. Leader is to develop or heighten a student's maximum academic performance.  Making this possible are the peer-assisted study sessions S.I. offers on a weekly basis in a variety of University-Core Curriculum courses. Creative learning through S.I. is not limited to students needing assistance. Aside from learning how to facilitate, students who apply and join our team as S.I. Leaders strengthen their knowledge of the material and learn more about their peers.
