Geology 111
Geology and the Environment is a University Core Curriculum course re-introduced by SI in Spring 2009. Study sessions will aid in examining human interaction with geologic processes and natural disasters (i.e. earthquakes, volcanoes and floods), occurrences and availability of geologic resources (i.e. water, minerals, and energy), and human impacts on the environment (pollution, waste disposal, and global warming).
