Test Taking:

Is there an answer in the Question?

Get into the habit of thoroughly reading through the statements and questions on exams to find any and all common links.  If there is a question or statement about a particular concept, look through the rest of the exam for a statement about that same concept that just may provide the answer.

Example of an exam question to be answered:

Who was the first president of the United States?

      A.  Georgianna Wallington
      B.  Curious George
      C.  George Washington
      D.  Gorgeous George

Example of another question that may be found on the same exam that answers the above question:

George Washington, the first president of the United States, is also called by

many American historians "the father of our country.
"

      A.  True
      B.  False
